As AP, my role is to support the producer by helping organize the broadcast. This includes:

• Writing scripts for anchors (VOs, intros, teases)

• Researching stories and fact-checking

• Cutting video clips and pairing them with scripts

• Building rundowns (the order of the show)

• Coordinating with reporters, editors, and control room staff

• Monitoring breaking news and updating stories in real time
